Electric bug zappers?

I'm wondering if it's ok to place electric bug zappers in the top of my run so my chickens can eat the fallen bugs. Is this a no-no?

I can't see where it would be an issue considering some of the other things chickens eat. Just be absolutely sure the chickens can't get to the zapper and get zapped themselves.

Thanks. I plan to hang it high in the run which will be over 6' high. It is completey I closed so I can't see any way for a chicken to fly up and hover like a humming bird to stick her head in close enough to get zapped!

Should be no problem eating cooked bugs

I used to feed my pond fish the same way.
