You can get a small roll of the plastic fluorescent tape they use for tying onto boundary marker sticks and tree branches on job sites. Building supply place or a hardware store would have it. Tear off just enough to make short ribbons. Not long enough to let the ribbons on the wire touch a post or another wire. When wet, they will conduct electricity.
