Electric fencing recs

Yeah, he was going under the fence when he got shocked, turned around and struck at the thing that hurt it, and got the wires in his mouth... that's all she wrote for him, he was found in the morning.
Snakes make some fine meals. The following is a copy/paste from Wikipedia. Note the last words. :gig
That one in pix would feed quite a few hungry peeps.:drool

Snake soup (Cantonese: 蛇羹, Pinyin: she geng) is a popular Cantonese delicacy and health supplement in Hong Kong, which contains the meats of at least two types of snakes as the main ingredients. The soup tastes slightly sweet because of the addition of chrysanthemum leaves and spices, while the snake meat in the soup is said to resemble the texture and taste of chicken meat

Doesn't EVERYTHING taste like chicken though?? I mean, that's one of the most common ways to describe meat...

I'm willing to try it.... Do you think these would keep me alive.

@chickengeorgeto BTW, You recall where I got that snake pix from. :gig
Yep. I posted it.

BTW a LA (That's Lower Alabama for you Old Dominion folks) farmer was baling round bales of hay and he got off his old John Deere to check on the equipment, and a snake almost as big as the one pictured put a hickey on the unfortunate farmer's neck. They found him lying behind the hay bailer with his tractor still idling. It seems that the Eastern Diamondback Rattler was bailed up in a roll of coastal bermuda hay but with his business end still free.

I have also heard snake described as, "Like Cod Fish." Anyway shake is a mighty fitting meal no matter what it reminds you of. One day I'll have to relate the true story of an old timer named Coonie, a ginseng hunter and Moonshine quality control expert who decided to diversify into snake catching for fun and profit.

Having the electricity turn on and off at a certain time shouldn't be a problem. They do make timers to do that. As to fencing, I love my Premier1 electric netting. So far have never last a chicken to a 4 legged predator while using the netting.
What energizer kit did you purchase for your Premier1 fence? We can run power to it with a short extension cord but I like the idea of solar. I'm just not sure the Premier solar energizer is worth the extra money.
