Electric Fencing Suggestions

Hello,
I am looking for suggestions and feedback on electric poultry fencing. I have had chickens over the years and we have lost some to predators either while free ranging or we had a mink dig into our barn to get to them. We are down to a smaller group of hens but have some new chicks and while I would like to give them some free time roaming around when we are outside with them I worry. We do have minke in the area that will come up every once in awhile to see whats going on and they are in a secure coop and run at night but I am wondering if they would be safe in a 4 to 6 foot electric fence. Has anyone used this fencing with success and if so any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I ran a single hot wire about 6” up from the ground on 6” stand offs. Has worked great so far. Not sure about the netting.

just making sure this a single strand of wire on single posts? or did you have an additional type of fencing?

Yes single strand wire all the way around perimeter attach to the post roughly 8’ apart. Predators lead with their noses so one wack and off they go. You can asked my dog he makes sure to stay clear of fence. Just buy a charger plenty big.
