Electric heated waterers for northern climates

I will have electricity right where my quail pen is going to be and I live in Michigan. What's the best waterer to buy? The 3 gallon one I see is much too big. Anything smaller?

I plan to use a heated rabbit waterer when I get quail.

Just add more vodka and the water wont freeze. Seriously though you might look at just using some cut to size heat tape to adapt to whatever waterer is easiest for you to get/use

Will these work for quail? Do they know to drink from a nipple like this? If so I am definitely going to try these.
