Hello All,
I have eggs in the bator, a batch at day 13, and a batch at day 5. The electricity was out for 18 hours +, and the temp was down to 55 degrees in the bator for probably 12+ hours. What can I expect?

Not sure what to think,

I think they'll be okay. A long, long time ago, I accidentally unplugged an incubator in the school I was teaching in and didn't discover it until the next day! The chicks hatched late but they hatched! You can always candle them but I'd wait a day or so.

I have had a hen leave her eggs for a full day before I found out, I put em under another hen and they all hatched a day late.

They're hatching...right now I have 2 bantam black orps and 2 bantam buff brahmas......

I'm so excited...
