How many of you supplement your day old chicks? If so, what do you use? Electrolytes, chick starter (the green stuff), vitamins, or .... I am not sure if I should use anything or if I do, what I should use. I'd love to hear input on what everyone uses (or doesn't use).

I use a little bit of sugar, for the first few days in their water. I also use apple cider vinagar from the start. Just a little splash in the water. I even put it in my grown chickens water. The ACV helps the chickens body absorb vitamins. If I notice a weak chick, I add poly~vi~sol W/O iron to the water. hope this helps!

I am gonna use quick chick from mcmurray just so they get off to a good start

I use Quik Chick, Broiler Booster, what ever the company calls it who I order from. Every one I have bought is a yellow powder and you add a half a teaspoon to a gallon of water. Since it only costs a couple bucks I figure why not!
