Hi, everyone!
I read an article the other day ( https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15615022 ) about using EO water as a disinfectant for incubating eggs. So I splurged and bought an EO gadget on Amazon, and I liberally sprayed the two clutches of eggs currently in my incubator. As a bonus, I've found that the EO water is easy to use and I can use it as a disinfectant all over the house--in the bathroom, to clean incubators, and to clean the brooder, even in the laundry. It's water plus electricity plus vinegar, and it creates water that disinfects. Sounds like magic, huh? And I sound like a commercial, but I'm not selling anything. I just wondered if anyone else has used this--sounds a lot better than some of the "miracle" hatching sprays I see advertised on Ebay and other chicken hangouts. Here's another article with the data: https://academic.oup.com/ps/article/88/5/1121/1547599
In this article, they're using EO water in poultry drinkers, to good effect:

And, if you're interested, here's the EO gadget I bought:
Force of Nature Non-Toxic Natural All-Purpose Cleaner/Deodorizer Starter Kit (5 Activator Capsules included)
So--anyone else tried this?
