Elevated commercial coop

Hello @GTR ranch-

I realize this post is old, but do you have any updates? What worked/didn't work etc? I'm starting to think about building a coop this spring and love your design. Also, do you still have plans around?

Interesting note on the Dura-Slat web page

"Manufacturer recommends storing product away from exposure to the sun, as its U.V. rays and other general weather conditions will diminish the life the product. Exposure to outside weather elements voids all warranties."

So a coop with lots of windows would void the warranty...

Only if they were open?
'out of the weather' usually mean protected from rain and snow.....not sure if it includes sunlight.

The sunlight thing is probably a CYA.

Well thanks for that info- I am interested in the dura-slat. Now I know they are a CYA company!
