Elevated waterer for Chicky

I ran across an article somewhere that talked about elevating the waterer to keep shavings out. I had a corner shelf used in one of my rat's cages that was basically unused, so I removed it and put it in Chicky's cage until we can get her a coop for outside when she's old enough.

So far, it's working splendidly!

Meh. It keeps shavings out, but she's still got enough room to stand so she ends up pooping in her water. UGH. I don't know which is worse. Water with shavings AND poo in it, or just poo water. :/
