eleven week old crowed for the first time.

i have a flock of ten.now i know at least one is a roo.hoping that i have only one.he is so mean to several of his flock mates.will grab them on the neck and wont let go until he pull their feathers out.(i hate this pecking order thing)very stessful.

I have 4 roosters 12 weeks old. They have been crowing or about 2 weeks now. I have bullies. They are bound for freezer camp as soon as they are big enough. My biggest rooster is a good rooster. He's very good to the girls and he is the last to go to roost. He will be the keeper.

he picks at several.their is a very small one (pretty sure its a pullet)that he constantly peaks and pulls her feathers out.she is terrified of him.he chases her away from the food.i feel so bad for her.he is a americauna and big.i thought that roos are suppose to look after and protect their flock.i'am hoping that after he gets older he will mellow out.
