She/he is supposed to be a pullet, but I have my doubts. She/he is 6 wks old.

Even if she's a he I might be tempted to see what a Barred rock roo is like, personality wise. My last roo was a butt and ended up in the freezer.

Elvira. Her barring is pretty dark, which is an indicator of a female. Plus her comb and wattles are not all that big either.

Darker, her legs are not huge, good dark front to her legs. Unless that's a super dark roo, looks like a pullet.

And barred rocks can be some of the sweetest Roos.

My limited knowledge says pullet. I have 2 BRs (5-6 weeks) and both are shaping up to be roos. They have much bigger combs/wattles than your girlie and they're also much lighter in color. I posted them on here earlier to get confirmation. They're going back to the breeder tomorrow to be traded for pullets. I can't have any roos. I will say that these are the sweetest and friendliest of my 8 chicks. If I were going to have a roo, I guarantee it would be one of these guys. They are too sweet!!

I think Elvira, my little Barred Rock Roos all have red combs and wattles already way before the six week mark.
