Embden geese moved nest

Hello!
I have a pair of embden geese who have their very own house and yard.
Meghan and Harry are their names.
Meghan is currently sitting on her nest with 9 eggs. We’re 3 weeks in.
At the beginning she built her next at the very back of the house. As the weeks have went by she has continued to love her nest closer and closer to the door.
As of yesterday she has now completely moved her nest to outside the house.
Harry has been standing guard outside the house this entire time.
Why would she be doing this. We had a weather change where we’ve been down to close to zero. We are located in Ontario. Algonquin park area.Could it be warmer outside the house the house and that’s why. Or what do you think?

She’s silly. Geese usually like secluded areas to nest, maybe add some kind of barker inside the house to give her a cubbie to hide behind.
