" It's fine " he says, stopping on a street corner uncertaintly.

She is already far away. She stops, stares at him a moment, then caustiously wanders in his direction.

"ya, your are thinking, "this thirteen year old girl should be in school, etc etc " i already pass high school last year, i was too smart for 8th grade, and it might be too that i ridge to many pranks on the old grouchy teacher" she step on the corny with him, being careful not to step on her one broken foot/ankle


he puts some of the sugar cubes on the fence post for her

She wrinkles her nose and takes one, watching him out of one eye.

"yep, i was the brains most of the time" she sigh and soon the hospital appears " i was able to get the pranks to look like some of the other kids that hated him, but they did not mess with me, and i still wonder why"

"dont worry, i just had a stash" he flicks his tail to get a fly
