As Jude was peacefully brushing down Prometheus' coat, she hummed to herself. But as the voices in the stables rose higher, she stopped for a moment turned towards the door of the stable. Slowly, she began to walk towards the stable entrance to see what was making the ruccous. (Sp?

) Upon reconizing the voices, she put her ear to the wooden boards and listened.

A broken sob was heard. "Dennis?" Bridget asked, her voice timid and afraid.

A strangled sob escaped her full lips. "I... You mean Jude? I..." She choked on the words in her throat. "I'm not even married... What have I stooped to? I might as well die..." She whispered with choppy sentences. Raising a child unmarried, alone; one of her worst fears. She'd always said she wouldn't be the broke single mom with the dysfunctional kid.

Jude had already realized that the two people speaking were Dennis and Bridget, which confused her ever so slightly, but she brushed it off. Upon hearing her own name spoken by Bridget made her freeze. With the following sentences said, all sense was drained from her, and her face paled. At first, Jude was too shocked to feel anything, then suddenly anger rose up within her.
