After a moment or two her expression went blank. Another example of overly-confident, backyard bred colts. Shoulda known...

"No wonder they don't like you and your human much." he retorted, glaring at her. He turned, his large muscles contracting as he trotted down the fence away from her.

"What's your problem?" she muttered loud enough for the colt to hear, before turning around to graze.

(Lol, it's okay. He's just a cocky colt.)

"You have something against horses who don't have a pure pedigree? I've met plenty of sucessful, intelligent horses in my lifetime who weren't registered in anything because they weren't any specific breed, yet they could still own an entire arena full of snooty 100% Hanoverians. Besides, I'm a double registered Quarter Horse, not a mutt," she replied, a bit more sternly this time. "And who are you to say you're so great? You're just some block-headed colt who can't even be ridden yet, let alone reproduce." Breanni let out a deep sigh. She felt horrible for saying such things to a child, even if was relieving.

He whipped around, "The whole world says i'm great. If your a double registered Quarter Horse then how cum' you don't know bout' me, my mom, and my dad? If you were worth anything you would know."

I know, but still!

"Stop setting yourself up for failure. You aren't all that until you prove it in the show ring," she snapped, still aggrovated with the colt, although she didn't want to hurt him too badly. "So what if I didn't know who your 'oh-so-royal' family was at first glance? You're just a foal. You shouldn't be worrying about your fame and skill at such a young age. I never did, and now I've been told I'm a champion cutting mare."

Lol, it's fine. :p You're in character.

"And your just a mare who takes place in low level competitions that she wins, so therefor she thinks that she is a champion." he retorted, still unfazed by the mare.

Haha.
