The stallion winked at her, flashing his charming smile at Kachina. "May I ask what you're doing here?" Sophia asked, trying to gain his attention. "Lookin' for some mares." He said simply. "Oh, by the way, my name is Dean." "Lovely," Sophia said shortly. "Now, I must inform you that whatever mares you are looking for, you will not find them here. We are not a herd of only mares, we have a lead stallion thank you very much. In fact, I'm the lead mare." "Nice..." The stallion said slowly.

Kachina cocked a brow at him and stepped a bit closer to the two on her dainty half-Arabian legs out of curiousity. Her belly was very much rounded from being pregnant, making it obvious her first foal could be coming anytime soon.

Upon suddenly feeling queezy, Kachina sank back into the bushes and breathed heavily before letting out a single loud, pained whinny.

Sophia watched the stallion dissapear mysteriously into the woods, her face emotionless. Hearing Kachina's whinny, she perked her ears and widened her eyes with surprise. Sophia walked carefully to the mare, her head held low. "Are you alright?" She asked warmly, trying to comfort her.

She wheezed before the whole foal slipped out, Kachina staring back at it lovingly and nickering. The new mother nuzzled and licked off the little bay foal.

Kachina's joy soon turned to sadness. "If only you were here to see this..." she whispered sullenly to the sky, shaking her head. She looked back to the little filly, who was then cleaned off and nursing. "Hello there sweetheart."

Reminds me of my mares who have been pregnant for months our time.
