"Sailing in Diamonds," the mare replied in a seductive voice. "Out of Topsail Whiz and Princess in Diamonds. You?" she asked, looking him over with an approving smile.

"Shiners Voodoo Dr, outta Shining Spark and Voodoo Chic by Smart Chic Olena. That, and Doc Bar is my great great grandsire," he said with a nod.

She raised her brow in approval. "Should we take them to one of the other pastures?"

Bridget led Diamond to another pasture, nearly out of earshot from the Crown's and Wind and Fable's.

Bridget scratched Diamond's withers before turning her out. The mare shook her coat out and trotted out a few yards, turning to face Voodoo.

Annie sniffled quietly as she watched Summer graze in a make-shift paddock at a friends house. She had thought over where she should take Summer, but all were abolished when the mention of money came. Annie now had one last choice if she wanted to keep her mare. So, after plucking up enough courage, Annie carefully pulled the phone Bridget gave her from out of her pocket. She held it as if it were a bomb, ready to explode at any moment lest Annie be extra careful. Slowly, the number was dialed and Annie phoned Bridget. Her heart began to beat faster and faster, and the blood drained from her face as her nervous-ness grew.

Bridget, upon feeling her phone vibrate, took it out if her pocket and answered. "Hello," she greeted, not bothering to check caller ID. She turned away from the fence.
