hubby likes it that way because he says you get what you see instead of being horrified when someone who wears heavy makeup does not have it on.

I've had this happen. A guy friend came to visit me in college when I wasn't made up. I opened the door and his face said it all.

I grew up with my mom took forever to get ready to go anywhere, we waited and waited...oh..how I did not love that. Then Mom would put something on my cheeks to put more colour on it, which I did not love also.

Mom woke up before dad and put her make up on, hair done and all beautiful.

I did not wear make up until my date (DH) asked me one day, why I don't wear make up? I put make up on the next day he laughed and that was the last of it.

I did try to wear lipstick, and the smelled make me want to vomit. I tried out expensive brand, the vomit is less, but it is still vomiting smell. I did wear it for a little while, but it did not last.

My mom painted face & the long wait for her to be ready to go to the shop, ...really put me off all these make up business. Mom is the girly girl and that was ...too much for me

My Mom would always tell us kids that we could not leave the house until she was done painting the barn. That is what she called putting on her makeup, lol.
