Emergency advice needed asap !

Im needing advice on my chicken,just now she started acting strange she can barley walk and all she’s doing is laying down with her eyes close.Im not sure what she has or what I can do to help her because she’s never acted this way I have 2 other chickens and none of them have done this.

How old is she? Does she lay eggs? Do you have a rooster or just 2 other hens? Get her drinking some fluids, and water with sugar 1 tsp per cup or electrolytes are good. Mushy wet chicken feed with water and soft cooked egg can be offered. Check her over for lice or mites. Have you seen her eating and drinking?

no she was not attacked, and she laying down just when I touch her she tend to stand up a little

I had her since may of 2023 when she was a chick so I think she more than a year,she does lay eggs and I don’t have any rooster only 3 hens.When I let her out earlier this morning she was fine she was eating but I’ll be sure to check her and feed her what you said ! Thank you sm

She might be starting to molt since she is around 18 months old. Are her feathers a little fatty or are you seeing them lying around in the coop? That can be a stressful time. Try to get her eating and drinking.

she already went through her molt so I don’t think it’s that

If she is currently laying eggs and hasn't laid one today, I'd start giving her Extra Calcium asap. Give 1 Calcium Citrate+D3 tablet today, then once daily for 5 days. Hopefully this will help her expel and egg or egg material if this is her problem.

Work on hydration as mentioned. I like to give a bit of sugar water to see if they will perk up (1tsp sugar to 1cup water) or if you have electrolytes, you can give those.

she hasn’t laid eggs all day today but yesterday she did,shes pooping fine as usual,I’ll be sure to give her calcium hopefully that makes her better and I did give her sugar water she only drank a bit
