EMERGENCY! Can I give day old chicks to a goose with goslings?

The goslings are about the same age, she would be bothered if I put the chicks under her, and I'm concerned that the mother goose would kill the chicks.

Chicks as in baby chickens? I would not attempt this. She'll know the difference.

If the goslings are much bigger than the chicks, you probably shouldn't. If they are about the same size, and she has a lot of goslings, and all are young, and she isn't taking them outside yet, then you could try to attempt it. Stay close though, incase things don't work out. Best of luck!

Chicks (as in chickens?) with a goose and goslings? I can only speak for how I’d handle that…. I’m not trusting enough to do it. I’d be too concerned for chick safety. Instead, I’d brood them separately rather than risk them being rejected (or worse) by the goose.
