EMERGENCY-Chick acting weird

So my broody's eggs are hatching one hatched yesterday and the mom was pecking at it so i removed it. Its under a heating lamp, when i noticed it kept craning its kneck up. I added a drop of water and the chick swallowed it and bubbles came from her mouth. This is its second day and still crawls around. It also has its eyes closed a lot. Does anyone know whats happening?

Mother hens do know when something isn't right with a baby, so that's why she rejected it. I know it seems brutal. Poor thing. If it doesn't eat or drink, and it appears to be suffering, then you may need to put it down.

Could be wry neck... Go to the drug store and get a bottle of Poly-vi-sol. And give 2-3 drops to the chick. Poly is a life saver!
