Emergency chirpin!!!!!!

I jut got 10 chicks from mpc amd they are the perfect temp. They are chirping sooo loud and not drinking!!! How do i get them to drink?? One is drinking i just dont think they are thirsty!!!!! I dip there beaks. They are pecking and trying to eat everything!! Should i just give them food?? Should i wait until they start eating?? Please help!!!! This is my first time with shopped chicks!!!!!

If their chirpin loudly lower the light and see if they stop and if not then they were cold by all means givem food.

I heard just give them water first and then give em food after an hour. Is this true?? I am soooo nervous they will die!!!!

Find the "boss" chick, and dip it's beak in the water. It will learn immediately, and the others will follow.

They'll figure out the food, if they have access to it.

If they're cold, they'll be huddled under the light, but yes they will let you know if they're not happy. Some chicks are just loud, but if all are squawking there may be something else bothering them.

Yeppers! Put food in for the right away! I always have food and water in the brooder as soon as the chicks are in it. And you say the temp is fine? You're starting out at about 99 degrees then, right?

The brooder ranges from 95 to 102. Is that fine? I sprinkled food and they loooove it!! They gobbled it all up!!!! Ibdid take the boss and dip his beak. He then left. A few more dippedbthere beak and then left. I guess there not thirsty.

I also tap my finger in the water and usually they will go or dip the beaks in one at a time but they do need food they are probley hungry
