Due to a series of unfortunate events, I have eggs but no broody. it's my first time diy-ing a foam cooler, first time using an incubator, first time hatching by myself! Ahhh, what am I doing?

Scrounged up a reptile heading pad, two accurate probe thermometers, humidity sensor, water tray and sponge, and that's it! Eggs were lost in the mail for 8 days and have been rested today, must begin first thing tomorrow, oh dear!

Coolerbator veterans, what am I missing, what do you wish you had had, and what do you wish you had not done, any miracle tips?!

Thank yewwww!

Now I must go read the entire internet. *takes deep calming breath*

If you can keep it at 102 degrees Fahrenheit, you should be ok. Were the eggs fresh when they shipped? I'd be worried about fertility since it drops off after the first week. Good luck!
