Emergency disease

we recently got 9 chickens from someone who passed away. This weekend we had one of our previous chickens pass away. We now have another hen that is very warm, not wanting to eat or drink. She does still have her balance and is aware. Any ideas on what could be going on

The comb is a normal temperature

How old is the hen?
How are you taking her temperature?
How long have you had them?
Check her crop - what does that feel like - hard, soft, squishy, sour smelling, doughy, etc.?
What have they been eating?
Have you checked her for lice/mites?
Photos of the hen and her poop would be helpful.

Sorry for all the questions, hopefully with more information we can help you figure this out.

Well chickens are warm they naturally give off heat. Have you looked her over? I mean head to toe top to bottom right down to the skin.
Was there any fighting? Did the other 9 hens get along with you original chickens?
Do they free range?
Can you separate her, bring her in until you can examine her?

- Her comb and feet are room temperature.. nothing out of the ordinary. We are not concerned about them...
- she has very eagerly poop - mainly clear
- she’s about 2 1/2 years old
- we are not taking her temperature
- her feathers are very rough due to our roosters
- they are on a layer mash
- we gave her electrolytes tonight mix of water, sugar, salt and baking soda.. after we gave her that she was very spry and fighting us off
- her comb is normal.. no discolouration or temperature change
- everything seems fine with her except she’s lethargic
- she is currently in our basement away from the others
- there was no fighting when we mixed them together
- they went out of the coop once this weekend as it was warmer outside but they won’t be anymore due to winter starting

She needs a good warm soak to pass that egg.
I use a foot tub. You can use the sink. The warm water will relax her muscles. If you could use dim lighting that would be good.
Give her a good long soak... chances are she might lay in the water. Give her a nice quiet place to rest after the soak (be sure you dry her well).
If you have TUMS at home give her a chunk of it in a kernel of canned corn or a grape or anything chickens love. Even a piece of meat.
Be patient a soak could pull her through.
