Emergency! Duck adoption ended up rescue!

We now have them all safe and sound at my house. With the sickest 34 in the house. We lost two lastnight . I have a vet coming over today. I need some help. Most of their wing have been clipped by what looks like an electric clipper. My husband had a problem pick up the rest and did call animal control there. They are also coming today to take photos of the ducks, and they are bringing the rest of the animals here as well. The local Tractor Supply has donated bags of feed and bedding. I am going to go pick all my water melon as they all really seem to like it My original 6 ducks are very curious and a bit jelous. But my female Peking seems to be a good mother and comes over to help me when I am with the new ones. She will herd them to me a few at a time and show them to all the food and water spots where I have them laid out. Well I need to get off here and try and get a nap. Thank you all for your support. I just couldn't leave them there in those conditions.

No shampoo or soap it will make them have wet feather. It will remove any oils they have spread over their feathers. Sounds like your making progress we all look forward to seeing them.
If no shampoo or soap will they get clean with just water? I only used the baby shampoo to entice them to the water. They all have wet feather to begin with. So should I not try and get them in water right now???

you are a very kind person. love it that you care so much about those duckies. are they muscovies or mallard derived breeds? please send some pictures, I'm really interested to see how bad they were treated. thanks so much that you rescued them!!!

This is three of the original 25 we rescued. They are doing great, though when they are wet they look so sad looking. Right now they are out in the grass with my six enjoying fresh cucumbers that neighbors brought. It has taken many hours to get them up and walking around and acting like ducks.
