Recently I noticed my ducks tail drooping as if she was holding it down. She is still eating and drinking as far as I am aware. Her poop seems to be a little liquidy but still mostly normal. She didn't lay an egg today tho which is a little unusual because she lays one everyday. She seems to be less active and just sits around all day. She has been trying to sit on eggs for a while now but nothing ever hatched. She mostly just sits around in her house all day until when I let her out to free range. When she is free ranging she just sits in one spot and lays there all day. Does anyone know whats wrong?

Can you get the liquid Calcium gluconate from TSC or another feed store? Anyone who has layers should have this. Give her 1 ml and wait 24hrs, if she had an egg stuck the CG should get it moving. And this may be just leftover broodiness? how long has she been off the eggs now?
I'd def give her some CG it won't hurt her at all.

https://www.backyardchickens.com/ar...dications-to-all-poultry-and-waterfowl.73335/ this is the best way to give liquid meds. or you can try giving it over thawed peas or something else the duck will gobble right down. You just want to make sure they get the full dose.
This is a way to decide if it is an egg laying issue or something else if it's isn't egg laying trouble and [they can lay an egg and still be having trouble. ] Then a vet might be best to give an examine.

Thank you so much! She has been off the eggs for quite a while now but everytime she lays one she will sit on it until I let her out. I will defienetly make sure to give her some CG tho like you said.
