Emergency Goose Question! Help!

My gander, Christmas, seems to be molting but I can find nothing on geese doing this. He is losing what seems to be wing feathers.
He's swimming and eating and active but in the last 3 days has lost a lot of feathers.

It's hot here. 110 today and they have spent a lot of time in the creek.

Is this feather loss normal.

Don't worry about it. Geese molt just like any other bird. My Buffs are happily dropping wing feathers all over the place. This fall they'll be beautiful and I'll have to take more pictures

My backyard looks like a pillow broke open. And the geese shake and their flight feathers fall out.

Perfectly normal!

All of my geese are loosing their flight feathers also.
