So i had to do an emergency hatching help for one of my chicks. Luckily he was not attached to the egg at all anymore but that is also where the problem started.
The egg began to shrink wrap around him as everything began to dry out from the zip he started doing and then he just stopped. I checked on him checked on him. didn't know what was going on but knew sometimes it took a while to hatch. But i noticed he started becoming less energetic and stopped moving but kept chirping. He'd then give a push to try to push free but stop. So day 3 dont know if i should have waited longer but i decided to help. Very careful i went mind you he still had pretty much all egg shel still around him. (the hen tat laid him is good at laying almost indestructable eggs) Got him out safe and carefully no veins were in there or anything but it was shrinking and dried out and unfortunately some of it is still stuck to him. Two spots inparticular are his wing which he can't move cause of it and already fixed it but his head. The head wasn't as bad to take care of but his wing is the worst of them. But i could see why he stopped trying to get out just regular moving would have hurt.
Now i ask what can i do about his wing? it was the worse and it's still dried on there. THeres no shell just the inner lining of the egg. How can i help this litle chick with that? Or is there even a way?
