EMERGENCY!!! How do I help a chick with spayed legs who’s ALSO lethargic

Currently 2 days old, she doesn’t ever even wanna open her eyes.

If you take a hairband and twist it once, you can wrap both loops around each leg to make a brace. I had a chick that we did this for and he lived for nine years.

Add some electrolytes into her water to give her an energy boost.

At this point, electrolytes or apple juice are going to be your best help. It looks like the chick may have already given up. But if you can somehow get the chick to perk up, then you can brace the legs. But I would not worry about it unless the chick perks up. I would suggest small drops of sugar water/apple juice/or electrolytes in liquid on your finger, place it by the tip of her beak and let her drink it off. Forcing it into their mouth can cause aspiration. Best of luck with this baby.

She sadly passed a few hours ago and gave up

I'm so sorry for your loss. These things are out of our control. It was most likely a genetic thing, so chances are she would've had other problems for the rest of her life. Maybe it's for the better that she passed, but that doesn't make it any easier. We're all here for you. You did all that you could do.
