I have three geese, 2 females, 1 male. Both of the females are laying in one nest that currently has a total of 7 eggs in it. They chose to nest at the edge of their pasture fence and I only noticed today. They aren't always on the nest, and last year they tried, but didn't hatch any eggs. Can I move the eggs and make a nest in their coop? Will it work while they're both laying in the same nest? I have an old incubator I could get running if I have to. Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks!

Sometimes shared nests and cobrooding works - sometimes it does not. I have never been able to successfully move a duck or goose nest. Why not incubate some if you really want goslings and allow them to set hatch the rest?
