EMERGENCY- I THINK I'M LOSING HER

I gave her a dose of poultry drench and she has perked up a bit but still very sick. She did walk out of the coop into her run by herself and she managed to get back in tonight. Still very weak. I am having a really hard time finding a vet that will treat chickens. They will not give me a prescription for penicillan without an examination but am having a tough time finding a vet to treat poultry. The ones I did find said they could see her in a couple of days; i don't think she will last that long and I'm not sure if this is contagious.

See if you can find some emergency vets. Maybe one of them will see her and help you, even without knowing chickens. If they treat other birds maybe they might be willing to help.
