Emergency! My 2 years old female duck eat baby lizard

Hi everyone,
My 2 years old female duck have eaten baby lizard.
Lizard was alive when she ate I'm very scared.
Please help me out.

This is not unusual, chickens and ducks eat small animals like that.

Added nutriton to the ducks diet. I wish mine would eat a few of the invasive cuban frogs that are taking over in Florida!

What kind of lizard was it, do you know? I'm unfamiliar with the reptiles in your area, so don't know if any are toxic or not.

Keep an eye on her. If you have any activated charcoal, try offering some to her with treats. Unfortunately, apart from that I don't know what else to recommend.

Chickens are omnivores!

Mine have ate several lizards and frogs!

As long as the lizard she ate wasn't posinous she should be fine!

I also don't know the type of that liazard she was black in colour. I hope that lizard was not poisonous.

Small reptiles and animals are part of a ducks natural diet especially in the wild. It can be disturbing at first since we often only associate a domestic ducks diet with purchased feed, bugs, fruit and veggies. However, it is perfectly healthy and natural for a duck to eat small lizards, frogs, mice, moles, fish etc.

Poor little guy. Are you sure it was a lizard and not a gecko? House geckos are commonly found in Pakistan (and harmless).

There aren't any known lizard species that are poisonous, so I'm sure your duck will be just fine. It's natural for them to eat live animals, as they are omnivores.

I'm glad to hear that. I wasn't sure what was over there retile-wise.
