My Speckled Sussex was attacked by a dog today. She ran and hid, so I picked her up and examined her. She had no open wounds that I could see nor alot of feather loss, but when I put her in the coop I saw she started limping. I examined her again and looked at her hurt leg, which I could touch & move w/o her squawking in pain. It doesn't appear to be twisted. This is my first time raising chickens, so I don't quite know what different chicken injuries look like. I can't tell if its a break or if her right side is just sore...but please reply so I can try and treat her as fast as possible. Thanks so much!
