EMERGENCY. One gosling may be dying.. UPDATE: She's okay.

Oh, that was a picture from after their first bath time one day.

The two already died and were stiff when we found them, but Luna is sitting with me (she can't be alone). She is under a heat lamp, but seems very responsive and active.. She's a lot better than she was. Can I give her poly-vi-sol?

We had already called our vet, and it took them an hour and a half to call back to tell us they couldn't help, but referred us to one that my mom is talking to now.

We're gonna talk to our neighbors to see if they sprayed last month too, which would explain the last deaths.. Ugh, stupid selfish neighbors.

She seems to be okay.. But she's very lonely. Am I correct in the thinking that if she was going to die from the same thing as them, she probably would've already as she was smaller and it's been at least 10 hours since they died (estimating)?

I think we're gonna keep the geese downstairs now. There's something wrong with where they are, obviously, so I'm not taking any chances. Also, I think we're just gonna feed washed greens from our organic store and washed grass from now on. I do not trust what the neighbors have been putting out on their lawns. It rained recently, so I guess it makes sense..

RIP Napoleon & Remy.

Should I get another goose to go with her, as she's extremely lonely, or should I order some ducks or something? We have chickens, but she's uninterested in them.

I have been in pest control for years but I have never heard of SPRAYING for rats! Any Poop? bloody red or dark black could indicate a common rat poision an injection of vitamin K could clear that up if your vet can calculate the needed dose, about the same as a cat of the same weight.

No, her poop is not bloody and she is fine now.

It's something they ate that they didn't normally, which she didn't or ate very little of. So, it's something from our yard or our chicken coop. Solution in my head until we can pin it down? Don't feed them from our yard and keep them out of the chicken coop. I need to get SOMETHING for her. She's lonely and I don't want her to get depressed. She's my beloved pet, and any other goose that comes into my possession will be, so I'm not "ordering them to up and die". I'm moving the brooder downstairs so just in case it's something about that room that she magically wasn't exposed to, she won't have to deal with it again. I love my pets unconditionally, so don't think that I'm reckless about them. I'm not.

Thank you for your help. I'm gonna go look at the grass later/what they were eating.. Check things out. Also, gonna ask the neighbors the last time they fertilized and what they were spraying or whatever.
