Emergency please help!!!

I have a young hen 7 months who has been attacked by a type of mite that makes it to where she can’t stand on her legs. What do I need to do to help her? (I have her on probiotics, electrolytes, and I gave her a boiled egg to help her out. We do not have a poultry vet here)

Because when I was checking her she kicked when I got to her legs and I saw the nasty little critters.

Mites don't cause leg problems in their own besides uplifted scales.

It is likely scaly leg mires. You can coat her legs thick with Vaseline and all the other chickens too. That should help a lot.

Yes, I read that the Vaseline will smother them. Does the op still have to treat the coop with the P stuff?
