Emergency!! PLEASE HELP

Haven't had to use it yet, but I found it at the feed and seed near me (really small town; nearest TSC is 120miles). It's a smallish bottle, about the size of a bingo dauber, and it comes with it's own dauber...

It's a medicated liquid that also dyes the area blue so the other chicks don't peck at it...

Really works. My 4 all had red and/or slightly bloody spots when I got them. Kept blue cote on and had no further problems. They are all beautiful (fully feathered) laying hens now.​

Yay! That's really good to know cuz my 3 week old Polish look like sunburned balding guys with really bad comb-overs!!

I'm watching closely to make sure they don't get pecked on...

I buy the spray bottle for my grown girls, so I just spray it in a paper plate and apply with a q-tip. Also, a red light reduces the odds of pecking. Just in case you are using a white light...

ETA: your local feedstore should have it

Blu-kote great idea.....EPIC FAIL!!! Applied the stuff to her tail and now everyone pecks at her even the one chick that was able to stay with her, now she is in the brooder with them with a purple butt and i sectioned it off so she can be near them. But she still stands near the wire and the peck her through. Im so lost as to what to do.

Blue Kote is a GREAT idea! I use it on my horses. It also aids in healing. I would never have thought of using it on chicks though.
