I have a 6 week old quail who got attacked she now has severe head and neck wounds and is missing an eye now, we have no idea how or why she was attacked, she has survived a week after the attack, she was separated from the rest of the flock and has electrolytes, she has a heat lamp and a basic set up. what else should I do and how can I give her the best chance at survival?

Keeping the wounds clean and dry, easy access to feed and water with no bullies to peck at wounds is your best bet, which you are doing. You probably don’t need electrolytes at this point as she’s not seeping serum via week old wounds. Just time and good nursing care now, 6-8 weeks until things heal up and feathers regrow. You may not need a heat lamp depending on ambient temp and feather loss, make sure she has the option of a cool area of the pen as well. As far as injury consider rats or a raccoon/cat arm, also possible gang up by other birds or flushed into a wire/nail as possible causes. If predators, secure your bird housing. If injury, look for potential hazards and if bird violence reevaluate space, feed/water access, potential bullies, hiding places.

She was inside with other Quails at the time of the injury from what I have seen it may have been caused by a scratch of a wire and then attacks by the other quails, she is currently in a basement so not great heat elements so the heat lamp is necessary in this case, she has a hiding space and a way to get out of the heat if needed. The cage is super secure so nothing can get in it

I'm sorry about your Quail. Do you have photos of her injuries and eye?

You are sure the eye is gone? Sometimes there can be a lot of swelling and/or pus and the eye can look like it's not there anymore.

How have you treated the wounds? Is there a bad odor?

Is she able to eat/drink on her own?

No bad odor and I do not have a picture of her currently but I can get one she is able to eat and drink I have not treated the wounds as I don’t want to make them worse or hurt her

It sounds like you're doing the right things. I do have a couple of questions, though, in case it might be something you can prevent in the future.

How many do you have?
How much space do they have?
Do they have plenty of hiding places?
What species? (coturnix, button, bobwhite, etc)
How many males to females?
