EMERGENCY quail chick trapped

this is such a sticky situation and i don't know what to do. it is day 18 and one of my quail hatched. yay, right? well no. he fell beneath the screen thing. and the problem is, the only way to get him out would be unscrewing the screen from the incubator and getting him out. meanwhile the other developing eggs might die
I NEED HELP!!!!!

(last time i checked, he was still moving)

If it's something that won't take too long, the developing eggs should be okay. Can you wrap the eggs in a warm towel while you rescue the chick?

What incubator are you using? If there's water under the grate I would be concerned about the bitty.

i retreived the chick and he seems fine, the other eggs are back in the bator. thank you guys so much

No way... You cannot leave a freshly hatched quail chick stuck in an incubator for 3 days unless you want it to die.

I'm a little late to your thread but I was going to say take all the eggs out and remove the stuck chick immediately.
please look into getting some grippy shelf liner to put on the floor of your incubator so this doesn't happen again.

I have left chicken chicks in incubator for 2 day and been fine, I guess it depends on what incubator you have

i think quail chicks are different chicken chicks....
