I made a day old chick aspirate while giving vitamins. I was not careful enough is their any possibly she can survive or do I now have to watch her slowly die.
She is gasping there is crackling and she’s shaking her head she’s definitely aspirating. I only gave her a drop of liquid it’s been about 30 min is it possible she can come back from this?

If you are able, and she is still asperating, you could flip her upside down and message her chest. This might cause the liquid to come out and cause less breathing restriction. I've had this happen a few times and this tends to help.
Hope it goes well.

Thank you I’m trying to do everything I literally opened her mouth and tried to suck out the water which lord knows wouldn’t have worked. I’m trying it now. Have you had them survive? I tried to treat because she has the beginning of wry

Do not flip a bird upside down. That is a god way to make things worse.

There isn't anything you can do now that will help the situation except wait and hope.

Never EVER force anything into a chicks mouth.
I am sorry you just had to learn the hard way.

Ugh ya I needed to treat for wry and she wasn’t eating well so I just wanted to give her a few drops of poultry cell I thought I was careful. Im usually good at making sure liquid is at the side but chicks are just impossible to give anything to. To tell you the truth I was looking up wry remedies and every other post just said to syringe feed which is what made me even do it.

A one day old chick shouldn't have wry neck issues.
There is probably something else wrong with the chick.

Did the chick hatch from an egg your birds laid?
Yes of my favorite roosters died and I was hoping to get his baby we’ve done it before and got lucky. She’s not his baby only two were fertile other died and it’s only her. I let one of my silkies sit so more should be hatching within a few days.
Do you think more peeping is good? I’m trying to let her peep and shake she’ll peep more if I have her away from me. Trying to keep her moving vs just sleep. Idk if that will matter.

Flipping them upside down depending on the length of time is a personal choice. It is not dangerous for short periods of time. But no longer than 10 or so seconds. I've had chickens around 27 years and never have I lost one because I flipped it Upside down.
