Emergency- Severely twisted wry neck 2 day old chick (*update* Recovered from Aspirating)

Flipping them upside down depending on the length of time is a personal choice. It is not dangerous for short periods of time. But no longer than 10 or so seconds. I've had chickens around 27 years and never have I lost one because I flipped it Upside down.
I do agree with this I’ve had a few full grown chickens I’ve flipped because I was worried I got some medication or something down and it was always ok. But given the situation I’m in now not trusting myself too much ugh.

Just do what you think will help and hope for the best.
You've got this!

A one day old chick shouldn't have wry neck issues.
There is probably something else wrong with the chick.
I wasn’t fully sure of wry she had a lot of trouble uncurling her neck right after she hatched I had to keep uncurling her so it could be just a weird hatch position.

Ive had chicks like that who I thought would die. They were limp and twisted for 2 days, but on the third day were happy and healthy and active.

Thank you so much. Ya she’s really twisted almost falling. It also looks like one of her legs is a bit splayed. Very hard for her to eat and get the vitamins. I haven’t had chicks in at least 4 years. I just made her a mash and trying to rub a bit on her beak. Im hoping it’s like you said that she was just extremely cramped. When she hatched her head was tucked under and she couldn’t get up so I would uncurl her head so she must’ve been fairly smushed. Im hoping we’re in the clear w the aspirating though…
