I'd use the syringe since you have no way of telling how much they are getting when you put into their water. You can put it into their water too just to get them on a good start. , they will pee out what their body doesn't need Just add enough water to the niacin pills to make 1 ml I'll get you the info on how to do it.

This B complex should help stimulate their appetites too.

The thing is that she's still refusing to eat. I don't know how this can be fixed if she does't get the nutrients she needs. Can the vitamins help even though they are not eating properly?

Have you tried nightcrawlers and live bugs? That seems to have most the nutrients you want, and is cheaper than buying pills. Also, they get really animated to chase a bug.

@Emma234 before you feed anything other than their starter be sure to put out in a separate container some chick grit. It’s very important since they need the grit to be able to process anything other than their reg feed. I would honestly wait to offer anything else until they are eating their feed since that is where they are going to get the most nutrients. If they were with a mama out on the ground then she’d show them what to eat and to get grit but since they aren’t it’s different on how we raise them we have to provide for them.

One of them seems to feel much better. He started eating his feed, but he still has some diarrhea from time to time. I will continue the coccidiosis treatment and see how it goes. The one with the leg problem doesn't seem to get any better though. He started eating more but still not enough. Still can't make more than a few steps until he falls to the ground. The syringe thing didn't really work out, most of it got spilled so I put it in the water until I try another way. I was thinking or sprinkling it over a small piece of treat tomorrow.

No I haven't. Where can I find those? At the fishing supply store?

If they are eating good enough to eat the treat so they get the full dose try that.

Yes, or get a kid to catch them. It is SUPER funny to watch them go after them also. You could do grasshoppers but for those you'd want to tear the back legs off. Or other kinds of stuff.

The store bought feed just isn't nutritious for them. Mill feeds especially. I kept having all kinds of problems. I finally settled on doing 80% feed from store. Then I'd do 10% unmilled barley (pigeon barley), and 10% black oil sunflower seeds. You can buy these in like 40 or 50 lb bags. They LOVE sunflower seeds also; although you have to be careful giving them to ducklings or chicks that are too small to eat them.
