Emily

Yeah that's the stupid part. I have a bunch of the syringes and I know better Dont know why I didn't use one of those instead. Well Emily is not wheezing at all now but she is still pretty wobbly. The whole reason this thing started is because yesterday I noticed she was walking around like she was drunk. This happened a while back during a heavy molt but she is done molting and has grown all of her feathers back in so I'm not sure what is going on. I have that stuff called Nutri Drench which helps them recuperate from stress and such. I was thinking about getting some Polyvysol. If Emily doesn't perk up I may have to take to my avian vet. I have a really good one just didnt want to take off from work. Any ideas?

:hugs Don't beat yourself up, it sounds like she's o.k. if she's not wheezing now and is eating/drinking.

Do check to see that her crop is empty in the morning.
The wobbliness is concerning. I would stick with the Poultry Nutri-Drench. It doesn't have many B-vitamins, but is very good and made for use in poultry.

Her poo looks pretty normal. I'll check her crop in the morning. I was going to let them go back out but Emily is still a little wobbly, walking sideways and backwards tho not as bad. So does the Polyvysol have b vitamins? Here they are again, they're buds. Only 2 chickens I have left.

They are both cute!
Since she is walking sideways and backwards, I would get some Vitamin E and some human B-Complex. Give 400IU Vitamin E and 1/4 tablet B-Complex daily.

Give her a some egg as a treat daily as well - the egg will help with the uptake of E.

For the rest of the time, I would keep her hydrated and see that she is eating her normal poultry feed.

It's hard to know what's causing her symptoms - Marek's comes to mind, but supportive vitamin therapy as suggested would be the place to start.

Thanks fo thr
