Emma and Celeste visit a Nursing Home

Actually, our 4-H went. We had the only 2 chickens. There were also rabbits and one guinea pig.

Here is Celeste sharing Emma with a resident there. Emma did a great job. She even sat on Celeste's shoulder for a while.

I have worked in many nursing homes. The residents loved it when children came to visit, the only thing they loved more was when the children brought pets!

When I put my Grandmother in a home, I picked one that allowed cats! She loved it when that cat would wander in and lay on her lap to watch TV!
