Empty adjacent coop & run - ideas?

Hi all,
I am looking for some creative ideas for my now-empty small coop and run. Here's the deal: I have 2 small coops and runs right next to each other in my back yard. I had bantam and standard hens, but the standards bullied my bantams, so they got separated by size. 2 standard hens in one coop/run, 3 bantams in the other coop/run. Each coop and run can house 4 standard hens each. My 2 standard hens died last week (one had reproductive issues, another was culled). So now one coop/run sits empty.
Some ideas I'm kicking around:
- have one for broody hens and hatch out some fertilized eggs, basically keeping one coop as a "nursery"
- buy some more standard breeds in the spring and have them separated in their own coop/run, like I did before

I feel like there are other possibilities I am missing. If you have any ideas, let me know!! I'll post pictures of runs and coops if it will help.
***Note: I can't have roosters.

Maternity unit/isolation unit would be my choice. It's good idea to have one coop more than one needs currently.
If one has say a barn or large walk in coop and run then a separated space can offer the same advantages.

The bantams stay in the brown coop, and the red one is empty. The runs are separated by a sheet of hardware cloth, in the middle where they share a side. I don't know exact square footage of either run, but the run with the red coop is larger than the bantam run.
