empty school bus as a chicken house?

so far my girls have spent the winter in a stock trailer 7x16, with slatted sides on the top 2 feet. the front half of the trailer has plexi glass over the opening, but the back half doesn't. there is no insulation in the stock trailer at all. all the heat they had was a heat lamp to sit under. next winter il'll have the heat lamps positioned over the night roosts. as long as they stay dry they seem to do ok.

I have always loved that idea..of using buses, old vans or cars...whatever for a chicken coop. I always thought a small bus school bus would be great and it would be so much fun to paint the outside with a cool color, paint on flowers or whatever. It would be very cool...and fun to do.

There's a whole Thomas the Tank Engine episode devoted to a bus converted to a hen house. Am I the only one with kids here?
