Emptying your fly trap?

Hi All,

I've been using the starbar fly traps, which have been working great - but I haven't been able to empty them to reuse without the smell being bad enough to reach my neighbor's porch. :/ I live in the City, and have three ladies so I need to be conscientious of the neighbors.

How do you all empty your fly traps? Have you found a good way to reuse after emptying?

How do you have fly issues with only 3 hens?
Maybe try these. When full just replace cap, throw away and start with new jug.

You could dump it down a sewer drain, if you have one close by. When I used them, I used the disposable ones. This way you can just throw them out. Now I just have a couple stickey traps, that I hang in the coop.

Oh, you're talking about a trap that catches flies, phew. For a minute there I thought that you were discussing long handled underwear. That's a relief.
