Emu Egg Art

I've seen some pictures of Emu Egg Art here. I hope you post some more!
Here's my first attempt. I'm very proud of it

This one's for my mom. She loves butterflies so I started a butterfly design. But it got messed up partway through

so I just made a doodle out of it! I'm using a tool that's like a thick needle embedded in a wooden handle. Basically it works pretty well except that I'm finding it hard to make a clean straight line



The dark green layer has a bumpy texture to it and tends to break off in little chips.

Does a dremel work better? I've been looking for an excuse to buy one...

yup.. go buy a dremel.. and diamond bits for it!
