Yeah... I've hatched a lot. I did 200 ducklings last year. Its bad... I just don't want it to be. Who am I kidding. LolIf you're a Hatcher you know the smell. Trust your gut.
The stripes on the babies are just so cute. I love them!Welcome Baby B!! Arrival around 3am!! Up next we'll be Baby C. Baby has internally pipped yesterday and today there is now an external crack. I can actually hear the baby cracking the shell! B will be excited to have a buddy although I'm getting lots of snuggles! Baby D has not yet internally pipped that I can hear so that baby is taking its sweet time. I hope everything's okay in there!
Baby B is a standard, but all three eggs had a chance for white and blonde so hopefully we'll get a little variety here. I lost all hope for Baby E and I never really had any these last few weeks, but I haven't cracked it.
The remaining two that are just passed day 30 or so I am also not feeling hopeful, but as I said time will tell!

Well looks yellow which is never a good sign in incubating eggs. Actually this worked really cool. I'd try it in the other egg too if the vibrations didn't worry me. The air cell looks huge. I feel safe cracking it now.I know that feeling. I'll be interested to know if there's anything in there.
I felt better doing it on an already questionable egg. There should definitely be veins and that orangey red color in that region if it were alive.Very interesting! I've seen that same studier something along the way but never had the nerve to try.
