Emu gender differences

So I know there's virtually no visible differences in emu genders. Does anyone have any insight on how to sex young emu (5 months old) by physical traits or cloaca check?

vent check or dna testing will be your best bet at that age.. for the vent checking you may be better off having a second person assist.. just watch out for those feet and you should be fine.
